Absolutely loved those green tracksuit tops, wore mine till the colour changed. My wife towards the end of it's life refused to go out with me wearing it.

I think this is from later in the 70's.. their black socks?
Good to see one of our #BeCeltic7 legends in that one
the no7 Dalglish thing had me aswell.... I didn't think of him in that context.. if anything I'd have had as a number 10!! I think he played in 7,9 10 or whatever he was given...

Good spot with Nevin - took me ages to find him with the trackie on.

Others I can vouch for are David Kenny - back row left (hoops) and next set of hoops to him on right is Neil Watt.

I think Jim McInally might be the lad a few to right of wee Pat

The goalkeeper (back row to right of Watt) could be Michael Doyle, who went to school with Davie Moyes.

Having looked at Celtic Wiki's info on those from that era who never played for Celtic, think one of this team would be John McGoldrick, a right back understudy that we sold to Leeds - his pic on Celtic wiki shows he had dark floppy hair - but so agd everyone in those days

"Naebuddy move! There's been a mur-der! This football club's deid.

"Bring these two in fur questioning. Forget the CID, ask them aboot EBT. That's how you can afford they fancy moturs!"

your right about Jim McInally and to be honest with you I would never have picked out Nevin without the prompt from the article.

Great recent shot of the the great warrior. To this day when I see a picture of Danny the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, I would leave my wife for him  although I would like to keep that between us.
