1974 SCF.
KK had either found it, at this point, alternatively, not yet realised he'd lost it.

Or was that another CF? :ponder:

A goal from Tommy Coyne, any of the experts know the match?
Think maybe 3-1 to the Good Guys at the Gorgie Road shampooehole in August/September 1989.

Coyne got all three.

Thought it was too early for Tommy and discounted him, but you are right, thank you. The ol brain isn't as good as it used to be. Looks a lot skinnier than I remember him.

Wasn't it the opening day of the 92/93 season? Think you're right about TC scoring all 3 though.

Speading to much time in The Tavern i think
I'm pretty sure that's the game in November 1969 when Hearts beat us 2-0 on the Saturday before we hammered Benfica 3-0 in the European Cup second round on the following Wednesday. And that would mean it's definitely John Fallon in goal, because Ronnie Simpson's career was ended the previous January when he was injured at Shawfield in the Cup against Clyde, and it was just before we signed Evan Williams.

I'm probably in that picture, because I was in the jungle that day :)
I really hope this is the game against Hearts in November 1969. That is my first ever Celtic game and it would be the first photo I've ever seen of it. I was only six years old and although I have vivid memories or going to, and returning from the game, I have little memory of the game it's self.
