I was really worried that he may have had to be taken to hospital that night, looks in tremendous pain, but fair play to him he battled through.

I'm sure that's that's Ronnie Simpson ?
Speading to much time in The Tavern i think
I'm pretty sure that's the game in November 1969 when Hearts beat us 2-0 on the Saturday before we hammered Benfica 3-0 in the European Cup second round on the following Wednesday. And that would mean it's definitely John Fallon in goal, because Ronnie Simpson's career was ended the previous January when he was injured at Shawfield in the Cup against Clyde, and it was just before we signed Evan Williams.

I'm probably in that picture, because I was in the jungle that day :)

Scottish ref demostrates how to raise a color card over his head to Celtic player, will take numerous attempts before he can master it.

I know this is a bit early - but with the 100th anniversary of the Great War coming up - I would love to see Celtic FC mark this anniversary - and the SEVEN Celtic players killed in that terrible war - acknowledged in some way. :(

I didn't know that many died, what a waste. Do you know the other six? Would appreciate it if in your own time you could post.
