Another rather strange shot with the late great Johnny Doyle seemingly at home with the band Status Quo? The first time I saw this still I thought the guy on the back, right was Paul Hill from the Guildford Four. Any of you know the story behind this one ?

Olivier Tebily, flattered to deceive, I posted this picture as I heard Ambrose being compared to him by one of my buddies recently. A tad unfair to Ambrose I would have thought myself. A genuine bombscare that normally detonated well before the bombsquad could get anywhere near him.

Interesting to contrast the previous post of our rather looking Bhoys with this early shot of the huns first eleven. Two things immediately stood out for me. Why do they seem to like taking pictures in their underwear and why are so many of them cross eyed?

The Trophy that Alan Lancaster is holding is from the Glasgow Apollo, which was given to some bands who sold out so many nights (i think).

I'm sure there was something on here before about the picture, the guy back right is lead singer/guitarist Francis Rossi,

Johnny was a Quo fan of course, read through this...

Another one of my favorite shots, almost looks to be staged, you don't mess with those three honchos.
