Don't know about that; but he's definitely a fixture in Quin's and Betfred these days.
I worked in Quins way back at the start of the 80s ,I chucked it the day DannyCranie scored
against the huns in a 2-1 win my mates wher all going on the swally and I was meant to
go back to work ,well whats a Bhoy to do, there was a lot of Celtic fans in that pub but also
a couple of huns.I remember Joe McBride was a regular, and was John Cushley from that area.

I worked in Quins for a year in 1984. Is that when you worked there?

No Nirab think it was 81 ,it used to shut at 2-30 till 5 they let me leave at 2
for the game that wee Danny scored on the promise I would be
back about 6 but alas the Gorbals Bhoys wher in party mode and
that was the end of the Urchins barman career, enjoyed it while it
lasted mind, even though they never had a tv,or a puggy machine
and the woman had to go into the snug without a toilet ,Bishopbriggs
seemed like another planet to the Urchin lol.
