I was never in that wee enclosure although I did have the dubious pleasure of being in the away end shed a few times :naught:

The wee enclosure that you see is now the George Fox stand. In those days it was terracing.

I know it's been said before but thanks to everyone on this thread. I love it and I love the knowledge and devotion that leaps off each page. :worthy:

Every day is a school day and, for the most part, more enjoyable
Must admit didn't think when it started that we'd get to 709 pages :worthy:
Just to echo Connolly's Rhebels's sentiments - this thread is a wonderful trip down memory lane! Much appreciated, and huge thanks to contributors.

Yeah you're right.

Used to be the fair play stand I think.

George Fox stand is the big one.

IMHO Narey was the best centre back in British football.

Better than Willie Miller and Hansen. :rocker:

No disagreement from me there st anthony. I think Jim McLean once said something along the lines of Narey being his own worst enemy at times, in that he was maybe too laid-back and content with his lot- a little more desire and he could have played for any side in Europe.
Oh yeah, and he scored Scotland's greatest ever goal at Spain 82. :rocker:
