Stumbled across these 2 pics on an old CelticMinded thread.

Could John McPhail be visiting St Mungo's school - and is that Brother Clare/James Handley then?
That is defo the Parson Street playground, with the 'double' classroom (Room 17?) in the background.

EDIT: Just noticed the school crest on the wall.

Does the photo have names Moch? I'll have a stab at

Neil Mochan, Eric Smith, Sean Fallon, Vincent Ryan, Don McMillan, Willie Fernie, John Jack.
I'd say Dunky McKay instead of Eric Smith - Not sure about the two in the middle although do think the taller is likely to be McMillan.

John Jack and Sean both with fags.
 Think i have a touch of the Dunky Mackay-tis CB

I should have known that was no Eric Smith as i seen quite a bit of him in later years as a relative of his lived near me plus my auld man also drank in his shop the Bosanova in the Gallowgate, that was the choice pub of Tims in that neck of the woods rather than Mortimers Waverley which was across the road.

George had just taken the ball off Greig, beat the keeper and slotted it home. 3-0.
David Francey's unforgettable commentary... ...."Oh, what a blunder by John Greig"! A wonderful day! Vengeance for thon 1963 fiasco! :arrr:

Looking at the lineup for Celtic that night, did we have injury problems before this game? No McGrain, Lennox? Had to believe this could have been a European Cup winning squad, no disrespect to any of them...
McGrain wasn't risked as he was recovering from injury. The same team lined-up against Dundee in the semi-final of the cup in our previous match.

Bobby Murdoch doing his P.C. 'Piemuncher' Murdoch (in plain clothes) impression. He, like me now, just had to look at a pint and a fish supper to put on a half-stone. (No fair.)
