Im assuming this is Tynecastle, is this also John Bonnar, and could anyone roughly date it or name the players.

Cheers
Looks like Willie Miller in goals which would make it late 40s.

That's from the US/Canada tour of 1931. Jimmy McStay with, I think, the Mayor of Philadelphia before the opening game of the tour against Eastern Pennsylvania.

I've got 3 of these. Had all of them years ago when I was a wee boy but they all got chucked out as you did as you grew up. I've started re-collecting them recently and the one I don't yet have is Dunky McKay.

Got to agree, pretty sure its Willie Miller late 1940s at Tynecastle, looks like a older John McPhail nearest to him

A wee bit o research

Tynecatle 3 January 1948 with Bobby Flavell the player shooting, never scored that time but did score later to win 1-0, Miller & McPhail played that day.

Have added to the wiki in the past JBC, sometimes we dont know match or dates and have to rely on the KDS users coming up with that kind of info, also its part of the fun (especially with no game on today) trying to name players etc

Appreciate the great work you do on the wiki and will help when i can :worthy:

Not quite as historic but can anyone confirm this picture of Murdo scoring with a diving header is from the League Cup win at Love Street in August 1981??

Footage from in and around celtic park sometime in the mid 70's filmed using a super8 cine camera. This is the digitally restored version of my other video with some extra footage.

I came across this on youtube; it's amateur footage of Celtic in the 70's.
Thats some find .
