Ah the memories

Not really a part of London Road i would have seen a lot of as a teenager and you took a chance walking along there on a non match day circa 1972, we went that way most school days coming hame from St Mary's but you went underground along the old railway line that ran under school which took you out at the old station in Whitby Street next to the Helenvale flats, As my mates used to say "Your better facing the rats down there as facing the ones up above, at least these ones dont carry blades and wont strip you bollock if your wearing good gear" :arrr:

Looks like the guy on the tap line is waiting oan his copper wire to burn, if you headed left past the Celtic end the line took you all the way past Haghill and Carntyne to the gasworks at Blackhill which was another story, better to be a good runner than a great fighter in them days ;)

anyone tell me how to upload a picture thanks
Me too also - apologies for posting an external link a few days back for old stadium ones that had probably been seen before.

Alternatively, is there a postal address I can send some old stadium survey photos from during the 90's - I can't do the upload at all. :brickwall:

www.tinypic.com

Right click on the image, highlight the url address, copy it.

Open tinypic choose url form the three choices. A blank box will open, paste the url address in it.

Or choose image this should open a new tab with your image in it, double left click.

Click "upload now", a box will open and ask you to type in some word or phrase to stop spamming.

Choose the second option "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards", highlight and copy then paste it in your post.

This sounds long winded but it's not.

Used to love approaching the ground at night games and seeing those massive floodlights beaming in the distance.

Has any genius out there got the technical ability to 'ghost' a picture of the stadium as it is now over the top of the picture above please? I think it would be amazing to see the differences.
