Did Jimmy Lumsden have a coaching role at Celtic?
Yep - Cesar brought him in - He actually played a game for Celtic - Anglo Scottish Cup iirc

Done well with Moyes - Think he was going to retire - No idea if has or will change his mind now if Moyes takes his own backroom staff or a few of them.
Jimmy played with Cork Hibs for two seasons in the early 70's. I think he was recovering from a broken leg and played in a lower league as part of his rehabilitation.
He left Hibs and signed for Celtic. TBH I thought he played more games for Celtic.
A mate of mine spent seven years at Leeds with him as kids. Revie always regarded him highly for his reading of the game and encouraged him to take up coaching.
He was back at Leeds with joe Jordan and was manager for a while when Joe left.

An old picture from his Leeds days.
A fair Scottish contingent at Elland Rd. at the time, Bremner, Tommy Henderson, Bobby Collins, John Lawson, Walter "Sonny" Sweeney and Jimmy (2nd. from right in the front)

EDIT: Forgot about Eddie and Frank Gray
Cheers for info.

Billy must have rated Jim - Apparently brought in to coach the youngsters and his own standard of fitness even then was so high that he got that Cup game for the First Team.

If The Moch says he will likely not retire and head to Old Trafford with Moyes it will likely be the case.

It is Hampden - Think it is the same game which relates to the famous/infamous bath pic.

I would say also it is Charlie Gallagher.

Also they way they are seated has a familiar look re 25/5/1967 - Murdoch,McNeill,Clark,Johnstone,Wallace,Chalmer,Auld.

Behind Ten Thirty I would go Hughes,Fallon,Willie O'Neill and Charlie Gallagher.

You never mentioned Cairneys knee behind faither CB

As the original poster of the image quite a while back (its in the opus book) i never quite found out exactly what game its from.

Pretty certain its the one you mentioned re- big bath image which was our first game back in Scotland as big cup winners against Tottenham

Don't know if it is coincidence or if it was the done thing in those days but they seem to have sat down in order by number; 4-Murdoch, 5-McNeill, 6-Clark, 7 - Johnstone.

I'm assuming Jinky is talking to Willie Wallace or Charlie Gallagher

If that's the case the knee belongs to big TG and its Wallace with CG stripped.

By sitting in order it just shows you how meticulous Jock and for that matter the players were :worthy:

No idea who manufactured them but they will likely have been a freebie from Joe Dunn or Dunn and Moore. ;)
