Used to stand just to the left of that if I was with the old man and his cronies.
Pretty much in line with the light stripe in the grass just left of the 6 yd line.

Looks like the Hillsbrough game .
Didn't Roy Aitken have his testimonial against Liverpool around this time? :ponder: Think Craig Johnston (inventor of Predators) might have scored the winner in either Roy's testimonial or the Hillsborough benefit.

TB's tetimonial was against Ajax in late 1989.
This photo is from Tommy Burns testimonial against Liverpool Aug 1987 0-1.

Big Roy's testimonial was Man Utd Mar 87 1-0.

The Ajax game was Tommy'slast in the hoops but wasn't his testimonial.

Frank Stapleton- shortlisted for the manager's job in 1991 before it went to Brady. Any info on the match st anthony?
Friendly from 1986 which we got pumped 3-0. Wee Strachan ran amok that night, what a performance.

Frommemory we played Hearts on the Saturday at CP and got 46,000 then played Man Utd midweek with 40,000. Thosewere some crowds in those days when we would get 15-20,000 for normal league games.
