The Bryan Robson Testimonial match from 1990. Great atmosphere at that match with the united fans invading the pitch at the end and running over to the Celtic fans singing "we love you Celtic"

Anyone got the photo of Eric Cantona in the hoops from the Mark Hughes testimonial from 1994?
Martin Hayes finest moment in a Celtic shirt.

I was clearing out the loft the other day and came across my late father's old tickets from various games. This is from the Ibrox disaster match. I can remember the news getting broke on BBC and updates every few minutes that people had died. Like a lot of folk we didn't have a phone and din't know if he was caught up in it. While my mother fretted he was back in the pub. A terrible day.

Culchie, My Dad was there also. We stayed in Govan and were the only ones up our close who had a phone.

That night an old neighbour, Mrs Morrison, chapped our door terrified that something had happened to her sons and grandsons who were in the Rangers end.

They had a phone and she didn't and my parents told her to call her son and thank God they were safe.

My Dad often pondered how he would have dealt with that situation had something happened to them.

Sitting in Milan last week with my da who was at the game and went straight to the pub came in at shutting time with his carry out my ma was frantic with worry as the BBC had interrupted programmes all night to give updates. 'Whit disaster says he' totally oblivious to the tragedy.

Closest picture I could find it's not the one your looking for but it's the only Celtic related picture with Eric in it.

I'd like to see the picture your talking about though.

Eric Smith?
Photo was titled 'Celts in the snow 1958'.

I think it may be Tully in the centre with a receding hair line.

Check the old crush barriers on the Celtic end. Still had them right into the 80's
Defo Eric Smith in the middle and to the right of Smiler in this pic  Ran the best named pub in the Gallowgate - The Bosanova.
