God! I've just been looking back at the Celtic End photos and getting really nostalgic!

I'd give anything just to walk around it again. Especially on a lovely evening like that.

The new stadium is outstanding and I am immensly proud of how Fergus spent my £620 share money.

However I would love to be able to take my 8 year old in the old ground and show him where me and his Granda stood.

It is something like that, isn't it?

I showed my 5 year old these pics on the iPad. We live in London, but he already knows the new stadium and supports Celtic.

OK, Barcelona and Celtic, but I can live with that. I am half Spanish anyway and if he has to have a second team, at least it is the second coolest on the planet.

But he just looked at it like I was showing him some strange oddity. He said. "why are there just steps? What are those green things? (terrace barriers) why are there not many people there?"

He just has no idea of the Parkhead I grew up with. He can't even fathom that it is the same place, but kind of knows it must be "why did they knock it down with diggers daddy?" he asked me. It's all a bit weird.

As you say, I am proud of our stadium, and you have to move on or else you are a dinosaur, but I still love the old place and miss it dearly.

Tell you what, the Dortmund 'Yellow Wall' boys would love to have been in that North enclosure, or the Celtic End at Hampden, in the 120-134k days

It is certainly the classiest-looking one we've ever had; the Maestro just looked Serie A class in that strip... shame about the mince masquerading as Celtic players around him.

Not sure if this one from 1905 has already been posted:

Spoiler: click to toggle
Are you sure that's 1905 as Patsy is in it and he didn't join until 1911?

More like the 1922-23 season.

Eck McNair would have been the only one in the line-up that played for us in 1905, Paddy Connolly would have only been 4.
