Big Jock with Shankly and Arthur Thompson
Who is that ? Not Thompson.
Bill Shankly's brother Bob who managed Dundee when they won the league - He was also in the car with Jock and Tony Queen when Jock had his crash.

21 scots out of 26 Involved, and very decent players at that.
What a day out that was, after winning the league.

At the time, I thought Gallacher's goal was amazing- incredible pace and he went a fair distance. Our goals were celebrated with incredible joy. Winning that Cup was really important.

I was in the United end along with many other Celtic fans. We had to cover our colours before going in. About 10 mins before the start we all started singing and the United fans were amazed that there were so many Celtic fans there. There was no animosity however, they were just disappointed that there were so many of us.

The Maggie poll tax chants were incredible, with the red cards used to good effect.

Happy days and a good reminder of what winning the Scottish Cup is about.

Played in scorching sun, going back to the pub after the game lobster red face and a big grin.

Went to that game with the Smiddy (Partick Bus); George Galloway (MP) and Mossan (former Glasgow Lord Provost) where both on the bus with us. A big corpy double decker, licensed to carry 80 odd people taking about 120 to the game. G'wan pull a cheek in, three to a seat. Happy days

From memory that was one of the best goals I've seen scored against us. They were a great side going forward. One of my happiest nights beating them in Amsterdam .
