I'm sure it's Hampden!
No debate here, that's Celtic Park, not far from where the Pavillion would have been.
Can you explain the white barriers at the front of the terracing? That's what's confusing my :davieweir: mind.

I remember the barriers at Celtic Park. Used to stick my heid under them and flick ring pull tops at the polis. Happy days.

Photos from Celtic v Man U '66 (I was there). No white barriers so must have been painted green '64 or '65 :hmmm:

That team pic looks like it has the houses being built on Janefield St with scaffolding up.

That's the corner where my dad stood. Right next to the pie stand  Still sits in that corner today up in 445.

It's incredible how the basic shape of CP never changed from 1892 until 1994.
You can still see clearly the flat bit there in FLCs pic where the Pavillion stood between 1892 and 1929 between the Celtic End and the Jungle.

who minds vinny the parrot
query for the historians on this threa...

What was the purpose of seating the old jungle? Given that the celtic and rangers ends were still standing and used it can't have been to comply with all seater stadia rules. Seems bizarre money was spent to seat it and use for a year and then rip it all out.
