Sticking with the pub theme, here is Big John Fallon with the lucky winner of The Tall Cranes (Govan) singing competition  I think the guy on the right is the owner.

Nana Mouskouri's career was launched in the Tall Cranes?!? :suspect: Wonder what her version of 'Men Behind the Wire' sounded like.
Wasn't too bad. B side of Sean South
Ah, the pleasures of the Tall Cranes. The authorities shut it down after the staff refused to take down the photos of Gerry Adams and Bobby Sands.

Back open now right enough. Seen Jim Craig, Alan McInally, Tommy Gemmell, Pat McCluskey and Bertie Auld in there through the years.

As an aside what is that odd shaped bottle on the bar with the Whyte & Mackay pourer on it? Was that crap not called something like "Highlander's Creme" or somefing?

Edit: Stewarts Cream of the Barley?

Edit 2: Nope as the other bottle is facing the photographer and has a black label with "The A???????" on it.
