Big Jock and Jinky leaving SFA offices in 1969, Jinky had just received 2 weeks suspension. This meant he missed the 4-0 Cup Final.
Looks like they had missed a meeting at Slaters as well.

Along with Sean Connery and the Lisbon Lions Robert Dick of Hillfoot St was Jocks choice of bespoke tailor. we used to say it cost 30 bob to look in his windae  always wanted a suit made by him but any money i got seemed to get spent in the snooker hall facing it.

I remember when I was wee in Govan there was Tom Martin, John Collier, Claude Alexander and Burtons all in the one street.

Always remember my Dad picking up a new suit on the day England pumped us 5-1 at Wembley in 1975. :(

Could be Hoggan but I thought it was John 'Tiger' McLaughlin who later left Falkirk for Everton.

TWG,sure that was Setanta's first ever broadcast, which turned into an absolute shambles with a huge banner in the middle of the picture. I remember getting my £10.99 refunded.

Think you are right. In the View from that week it mentions loads of people were left with blank screens during the game and had to be refunded.
