Is this the Spurs friendly at Hampden?
It is.

I was there that day - an incredible crowd for a friendly. I loved the midfield (ahem) battle between Murdoch & Auld and Mackay & Venables.

Back Row: Allan Stewart, Pat Lally, Paddy Crerand, Big Billy, Baxter, Archie, Hugh Taylor? (Record and latterly ET columnist)

Front: Craig Brown, ?, ?, ?, Jock :worthy: , ?

Would reckon that pic was taken round the mid-to-late 70's.
Its no Allan Stewart
Is it, maybe, Jack McLaughlin? The Laird of Cowcaddens?

Yep - That is Tony Queen whose car Jock :worthy: was driving when he had the car crash at Abingdon .

The wee guy to the right of Craig "The Chanter  " Brown looks like Dick Donald of Aberdeen but I am sure it is David Hodge an ex Lord Provost of Glasgow in the late 1970's.

Front: Craig Brown, ones the provost of Glasgow and other of Rutherglen, Big Jock and does anybody else think the last guy looks like Billy McPhail?

I love this particular shot, as rightly so the Lions are revered, but the squad as a whole that year was class throughout
That is the defining picture of the Lions squad as people like Willie O'Neill and Joe McBride played some of the games in the Lisbon run.

Not 100% but Billy McPhail is a good shout.

Nicknamed "Teazy Weazy" because of the hairdressing connection.

Dundee v Celtic, Dens Park 1972 ;)
John Duncan in that photo.

Good striker.

Gave the Jungle the double vikky in a game at CP IIRC
That's not Celtic that's Steve Ritchie the Morton left back. He scored for Aberdeen against the Huns in 1978 and left big McCloy swinging on the crossbar.

Jock Stein tried to buy John Duncan on several occasions without success.

Tbf I think GR knows that it is Morton, st.anthony.

You are bang on about Jock Stein trying to sign John Duncan.
