According to here, in 1965/66 (when we beat them 8-0), Aberdeen wore red shirts with a white badge with AFC on it, and white shorts.

I'm sticking with my original guess.

Glad it's appreciated. The last few minutes with the description of fans on the park "with their suitacases and green and white hats on" is just fantastic.

I've got a few more I'll upload from the same period when I get some time. Celtic 4 Rangers 0 from 1969. listening to the crowd is fantastic.

Ants that intimidating it actually scared lesser mortals who played for us ,some couldnt handle
the demands of the Jungle .
