26TH May - was The Jungle open for fans that day, looks empty?
Certainly looks empty :ponder: I`ve a couple more in the same set, and they all seem to show the Jungle as empty. Not sure if it is just the shadows/quality of the snaps though.

Certainly was open that day and was filled to the gunnells

Sitting in the North Stand last saturday i for the 1st time ever asked my brothers what they were doing when Celtic won the big cup, the younger one says he cant remember but he remembers being in the jungle the next day, he pointed to the track and says when the big coal lorry went by there it jerked and all the players shampoo themselves and nearly fell aff :o

That was a knew one on me.

Pretty sure it was under reconstruction. They had put the new roof on it the
previous summer and then the terracing was rebuilt with the pish-stained
passageway built underneath.

Remember training next to Paul Wilson , Jinky and johnny Hamilton on the floodlight park when they were all playing wi blantyre Celtic . Amazing
You'd have played in that game at Yoker then.

The one where one of the players plucked out the corner flag and play continued whilst he was carrying it.
I didn't actually play with blantyre Celtic I played wi an amateur team but trained on the same floodlight pitches as Jinky and co.

Eh... NAW!!! Would've gone to ET, as we would have won the second leg 2-1.
