No, we had the V neck and badge was on left of chest in that game. 4-2 game, Billy giving instructions to Roy after Doyle was sent off?
Nope, it's 1979 but not 4-2 game.
Is it the LCSF when Casey scored the og :ponder:

Here's a question. What's going on here....? Opposition and competition required.
Aberdeen away on 22nd September?

http://www.thecelticwiki.com/page/1979-09-22%3A+Aberdeen+1-2+Celtic%2C+Premier+Division

Telling Big Roy it was his turn to melt Strachan? ;)

Given that I struggle to remember details from games last week never mind a game I didn't see when I was 8, I'm reliant on The Celtic Wiki for a guiding hand here.

Billy trying to sort out the defence away at Dundalk?

I was at the home game, but don't remember ever seeing the away game. Presume it wasn't on the telly? :ponder:

McNeill is seen encouraging his players before extra time in the Drybrough Cup semi final at Parkhead in August 1979. Celtic won 3-2 in the end.

Loved that strip. There's a collage in my hall featuring a picture of a much younger me, wearing that top.

EDIT...As a wee aside, when I joined the polis in 1979, went to Tulliallan for 12 weeks training. Week 2 and the PT Sgt decided a game of fitba was in order that day. The audible gasp as I appeared in that top, still lives with me to this day.  :ynwa:
