GR, an astonishing collection of Celtic memories!

all takes me back to being a 7 year old in Springburn again.

Thank-you for putting them on the site, a fantastic way to spend an hour or so.

Thought i was doing well, keeping my newspaper article from when we played Athletico Madrid behind closed doors on 2/10/85

Salim Khan :worthy:

Fantastic  Love this story, one I have known after reading years back! Unreal it was captured on camera

The Indian had 2 trials with us, one v Galston (put £100 on the gate) and one v Hamilton Accies reserves (5,000 crowd), he had never worn football boots, so instead Jimmy McMenemy bound his feet with 2 1/2'' thick bandages.
I did an article on him for another site a few years ago

Spoiler: click to toggle

I loved the quotes in bold from his son

Edited to add spoiler tags.
okay if I pinch your article for another site
