Those shorts and shinguards :o
Well, if you look at modern day shorts they are - in my humble opinion - ridiculously long relative to shorts worn in the 60's through to the 90's. :)

st anthony,
Don't know any of the others.
Gorbals Urchin,
I have vague memories of being at a game in the seventies played in the fog which I think was against Hibs. Can you remember if there were any others apart from the game in st anthony's post. I remember that I always stood in the Celtic End with my Dad and we moved round to The Jungle because we might be able to see better. Think it might have been late seventies.
Half way up the steps in the Jungle you could not see the shy line.

Hibs were the first to whinge at anything that woke them up.

No offside outside 18 yards... and maybe the first time two teams from each LC section qualified,
was the offside test not tried in the Dryburgh Cup ?
