Think that goal was half his total for Celtic.
He scored one more at Brockville in 1995 on a day that le petite merde played for Falkirk.
Was that the "numbers on the sleeves" day? Andy Walker also scored that day, if so.
Nah, number on the sleeves was the first day of the season, we drew 1-1, Walker equalised.

The game Boyd scored at Brockville we won 2-1 or 2-0, Boyd got the second. I remember the game more for the fact big Paddy Bonner managed to get Le Petite Merde in the baws when they slid in for a challenge.

As for the Love Street game, pretty sure that finished 1-1 with John Hewitt scoring for St Mirren.

Think you are right on both counts. Sure it was two one at Brockville. Remember Big Packie getting Johnston in the baws was celebrated like a goal.

Ian & Leslie Wilson and Pat Ryan were founder members of Dennistoun No. 1 CSC, which was set up at the start of the 1967/68 season.

EDITED to add: the CSC plaque was a wooden silhouette of the Big Cup.
Mini-bus is parked facing the Heilan Jessie on the Gallowgate

Only know old Eddie and i will look out they issues and give him them at the first home game. (TWG - thanks for showing them)

Dont know if you went on the Dennistoun No.1 Otis but from what i can remember many tims from the east-end went on it least once, i was on it a few times leaving from the sharp end of Sword Street and found it a very strict run bus, No food or drinks, no battering the windows :arrr: and when it went on long journeys like Aberdeen they didn't stay the night, it seemed to suit the older ones like my Da and Uncles, me and my brothers would rather go to a good vantage point like the junction of Edinburgh Road/ Cumbernauld Road and stop a supporters bus, did go on it years later when it ran from The Wee Mans and was happy to see the earlier rule book must have been threw "oot the windae".

I always thought those numbers on the sleeves looked really cool. Relatively speaking of course. Would anyone know off the top of their head what a general sale ticket for the Celtic end would have been round about 1991/2?

My dad was the first secretary; Pat Ryan was bus convenor, although I think John McGregor might have been the first one. Other original members I recall are Jimmy Corr, Willie McGregor, Benny Anderson and his brother (Hugh?), the Wilsons' father 'Tug' and Jimmy Feeley.

Nae singing, but there was a serious 'shoot ponnies' school at the back.

Even in those days Dundee and Falkirk rolled up the pavements and shut their shops when the Hoops were visiting.

Good picture of you ball-watching Davie

I was behind the goal that Walker scored into, was on the telly as he ran past celebrating.

There was something dodgy about him letting given go for free.... We knew he was good by then and the very heavily involved in gambling luigi frees him.... :ph43r: Something fishy about that whole thing

It's actually parked outside The Shandon Bells, which was the favoured watering-hole of the CSC.

When you think about it it's big Jock's success that has killed them off.
