Yep. Can still remember watching the highlights on BBC that night and Man City beat Man Utd 4-0 as well.

part the centenary stand im sure it was benches instead of seats.

It was indeed the centenary stand with benches instead of seats. Lex McLean the pro Rangers comedian said that it had a design fault - it was built facing the pitch.

1984 I think? Mad game by all accounts! RUC attacked the fans,riot broke out,cops lost his gun.
Brit troops outside ready to back the cops up,so Celtic fans,a lot battered and bruised came out to find other Celtic fans giving their scarfs to the troops as they were fans,i kid you not.
A few got a slap or a toe in the balls.
