This was a game at Parkhead against Dundee on 24 Apr 1984 played on a brilliant warm spring night. Attendance ? 4956
Can always remember the punters in the Jungle actually sitting on the terraces so sparse was the crowd.

This was our lowest ever home crowd for an SPL game.

Remember sitting in the Celtic End at that game St Anthony but can't remember much else about it. Think there were a few game about that time where crowds were poor although not as bad as that night. Any details on the game.

Celtic/Ireland,
Before the fashion for naming stands maybe it could have been called the Young, Loney and Hay Shed.

The only things I recall are the sparse crowd and warm weather.

This game was almost 4 years to the day when Dundee came again in 1988 and this time there were 72,000 there

Help required guys.

Danny Crainey will be 50 on Friday and he is having a surprise party. (Dont worry Danny doesnt even know how to turn a computer on so he cant find out from here).

Where could I get a good photo of him in his Celtic days that I could then get framed as a present?

Thanks, MB
Wish I had seen this earlier MB. I would have put you in contact with his Brother on this one (the wee-ist, and mentalist, wan  ) as he's a good friend of mine.

Hope that you got sorted

A classic nil nil draw. If my memory serves me right this game was horrible. At least we beat them in the replay although I think Falkirk put us out in the next round. Another great early 90's memory.
Big Jim Thompson fae Kilsyth in that photo, looking rather mawkit.

Was on that tour of Holland / Travelled all over then.
That game was cut short my lightning / electrical storm believe it or not.
Di Cannio's debut I think.
Great days following the club around. Drank a few lagers with all the players after the games etc..
Will try and hunt out more details of that tour. 1996 I think ............................
