Any image from this angle always brings back great memories for me because my Da always took me into the Rangers end any time we went over for a match. The pictures from the mid seventies on this thread are absolute gold for a nostalgic forty something like me.Even though it was certainly no golden era the period from 1975 -1979 really fascinates me - my formative years supporting the team I suppose.

Willie Wonka,
That is Boavista away.
Otis,
That Clyde game is a league game from 1966. 3 - 0 Chalmers, McBride and Hughes.
You sure? There's hardly anybody else in either pic. :hmmm:

EDIT: Just noticed there are six Celtic players in the first pic.

I do realise this picture is probably from around 1971/2 judging by the top and Kenny's hair cut. It is the view of Celtic Park seen here which stirs the heart and the old memories.

Otis,
Same old Celtic. Always cheating. Even at the 5's.

Double checked and definitely the 3- 0 league game.

Took the afternoon off school to watch this. Kicked off about 2pm our time, iirc.
And we got beat.
I remember our English teacher getting a radio into the class so that we could listen to it. Not be though. :(
Was that Sachensring (sp) Zwickau? The one time my oul' fella agreed to fake an excuse for me to leave school early! 0-1, as I recall? Or 0-1 at CP then 0-0?

Yir playing a blinder the night GR

This Forest one i remember as i stayed with some old parkhead pals down there that night, infact i think i stayed a week, was glad the coppers opened the gate or there could have been serious damage done, the chant from the Celtic fans "we are overcrowded" was no just a bit a banter.
