To Bonner's left as you look at the pic  - He really is a soup taker these days and that from someone who used to like him.

He didnt seem to be that bad when he was on Radio Scotland a few years
back, but now he's on Snyde he just comes across as a soup-taking version
of Gordhun Dalziel.

Where's Francie Hinton? :arrr:
Just out of pic hanging over the TO railings as per usual - He was up at Tannadice yesterday and came out of the ground not a happy chappy. :(
Still waiting for the Kellys and Whites to retake control of the club and give him his free seat in the stand back

League Cup section game, 1969, Celtic 1 rangers 0. Was on a family holiday in Ireland and my da, brothers and me left the caravan site the next morning to find a paper shop in the nearest town (Bundoran). I was sent in and found out the result from a tiny paragraph in a local paper. Danced out the paper shop, arms aloft. We sang all the way back to the caravan site, a great memory.

Hugh Sproat

Legend.

In a limited geographical sense.
He used to wear a Blue Top against us and a Green one against huns.

I remember one game at Somerset Park, the Celtic fans behind the goal were having a bit of banter with him.
It started with "Hughie, Hughie, give us a wave", which he did, then followed a chant of "Hughie's a Tim"
He turned round and shook his head, and the obvious chant followed "Sproat's a hun"

Viareggio tournament 1979 ?
Front row has John Weir, ?, John Halpin, Bernie Godzik and Peter Mackie. Bernie was a mate of mine, think he's in Australia now. Celtic-mad Denny boy, was freed in 1979.

Kilbowie Park, Clydebank. Clydebank player was "somebody" Fallon, Bankies captain.

Bankies Club in the background. Used to go and see the Bankies at home when I was a wee lad, whenever Celtic were playing away, before ma mammy would let me go to away games
