Looking at the 7 in a row banner, I wonder if that's the game we won 4-2
Sam, The game we won 4-2 at Easter Road came in the 9 in a row season in Feb 74. This is definitely April 73.
Agree with st,anthony - April 1973 8iar game at Easter Road - Dixie (2) and KD.

Im sure we only needed a draw that day but did it in style "the Glasgow Celtic way" by winning 3-0.

Yep - All we needed was a draw J - Not Jock's :worthy: or the the Celtic way.

Dukla away was a rarity (albeit a justified one) in the Big Man's mindset.

The Man is a True Celtic Legend - His goalscoring record is absolutely phenomanal.

Totally loves the Celtic - Always smiling - Always taking the piss (in a fun way) out of innocents. - Love the Wee Man.

And I totally agree about the Celtic Strip - That is THE one*.

*May change my mind when I get my hands on a genuine Shamrock Strip. ;)

Can we not start a campaign to bring back BOTH strips.....get rid of these modern "horrors" we have had to put up with since the 1980's? Do we really need a circa 1906 look for the entire season? PS Many thanks to the fan who posted the clip of the 3-0 game at Easter Road in 1973. This is the very first time I have ever seen film of this game. I was there with my late father and uncle. Wonderful memories.. .....and again what a wonderful strip.......

Gorbals Urchin,
That is the Brogan goal you are talking about. Always remember my dad talking fondly of that goal. He had a liking for Brogan. Said he was a right hard player.

My Dad would have filled an eleven with Jim Brogan's, Jack Charlton's, Bertie Auld's and Nobby Stiles'.

Brogan was as tough as the toughest thing from Toughland.

He was that tough.

3-1 Celtic Park

McClair (2pens) Archdeacon

huns caught up in a sea of befuddery and confusion.

One special article among them ran from the huns end onto the pitch and had a wee rant after the award of the second penalty.

Butcher booted the ball into the crowd.

Choccy waited patiently for the fuss to subside and buried it to make it 2-0 going into half time IIRC.

Took a mate (no real football fan really) to his first huns game that day and he stood opened mouthed for the duration.
