Didn't say in the magazine where I got that photo from where it was taken but it definitely looks like Hampden.

Being held up by, among others, the great Sean Fallon. :worthy:
Still going strong 62 years later. Saw him with his family outside Mass last Sunday.
Proper gent and legend.

The 1930s version of that photo of Pressley, Miller and Naylor:

During the clubs history,Celtic have some great goalscorers, but three stand out head and shoulders above everbody else.To me James Edward will always be the greatest ever Celt,a certain Swede is one of the trio, but the Mighty Quinn was Celtics first great golscorer. It could have been four Joe.... :(

Was thinking that in the Hampden picture it could possibly have been the old North Stand you could transfer to.

Roy Baines ,sure i was at this game ,the lizzie bus used to do a sweep for 1st goalscorer
and one of the mates got Dundee Utd no1 ,cue lots of laughing from his mates .Well utd get
a penalty and who should step up to take it but Hamish McAlpine ,my mate[ Banny r.i.p.]
gives out a shout of yes, tenner coming my way ,only for big Baines to save the pk and the
rest of us jumping up and down and giving wee Banny pelters .

I would say that's at Somerville Drive between the Celtic End and the old North Stand: the pillars visible inside the ground are a bit of a giveaway.
