Seen him drinking in the Vale before the Mini's game a few weeks back. Also still laugh at the story he told re Johnny Doyle at the CGS commemoration. Seemed like a top bloke.

Can still remember the morning Dalglish signed for Liverpool. Ran into the room and ripped of his posters off the wall in total fury.

To this day when I see his face on TV I can still recall the feeling of been let down back in 1977. Don't think it will ever go away either.

The consensus at the time was that Dalglish was sold by the board over Jock's head.

I too was gutted when Kenny left us for a mere £440k, bargain of the century for liverpool, considering a few weeks later Trevor Francis went in the first £1m transfer in the UK. I thought that Big Jock more or less picked Liverpool for him, as Kenny was wanting away to progress his career. From what i read, jock got him to stay for another season as he had wanted away at the end of the previous one- might have been round about the time Jock had that pretty bad car accident and kenny felt he owed him one more season on the understanding he wouldn't stand in his way. Can't remember wher i read this though, so it might be complete hogwash.

After thought- this was also the time that our board were regularly under reporting attendances to avoid tax and keeping our transfer budget in a biscuit tin, so anything was possible from the board back then

What's the chances of folk when quoting, just referring to a pic, rather than copying it.

That 10 out the first 11 pics on the page is the same one of Dom Sullivan!

Pure murder when trying to follow on a mobie.

Think the Hibs player is Brian Hamilton. Worked with him a few years back
