Re Arthur Graham, I remember the article. A number of Catholic players were interviewed, including Pat Jennings. Most gave diplomatic answers, but Arthur said 'not for a king's ransom'.

It kind of stuck with me that reply.
His family were all Tims.

He stayed in Castlemilk int the same street as Ray Houghton and Frank Welsh in the other......some street team!
he is also the uncle of motherwells stephen hamill

It is, well done! Its the 3rd play off game. My uncle was a bookie in Glasgow who knew Stein, and some of the players, and he went to the game.

Ive some more, will post them shortly. Ive had the photos for years, but couldnt find them until this last few days.

One of them, probably the best of the bunch is ripped, so if anyone is a specialist in fixing them, let me know and ill send on the jpeg scan.

I think Simpson had been hit by a coin in this one.

I think this is the president of Racing Club, by all accounts all heads were turning when this person came out into the stands.

That was when Big Yogi got sent off for losing the plot - Keeper picked up the ball and Yogi goes up and sticks one on him then follows it up by booting him - Claimed for some reason he didn't think anybody would have seen him  - Jock Stein was not impressed with that claim. ;)

Looks like "Ten-Thirty" has one of the feckers in his sights judging by that pic.

Some quality pics there HV!
thanks. Theyve been with me for years, sadly the family havent taken great care of them, and we've lost over the years a good four or five of them.

Im delighted that a few of the stramash survived. As CB says, Bertie just looks like he is going to do someone in with the "your card is marked" look.

May 1972: Celtic fans silhouetted high in the stands at Hampden Park, during the Scottish Cup final. Celtic thrashed Hibernian 6-1 in the final, which was attended by more than 100,000 fans.

My mum and dads wedding day service disrupted with cheers as we handed out our usual tanking to Hibs at Hampden :chuffed:
