Shot5. Willie, Jinky and Bobby having ice cream cones  now thats preparation for a final Glesga style :worthy:

Shot 10. Bobby Murdoch with the Lisbon duty free :)

Shot 2. This to me is a master stroke by the Big Man, getting photos taken with the famous Italians, inflating there ego's even bigger and lulling them into thinking the wee sunburnt Glesga Bhoys would be swept aside, the following night they heard the Lions roar :rocker:

Can only assume the Burns bit was transposed from Tommy's name being written
down at the same time :ponder:
Frankie Miller performed a wee gig at Jinky's pub in Wishaw (JJ's?)
and was then invited by Jimmy to Celtic Park

Quality

True story from late 70's - I was seeing a burd from Rochdale (don't ask!) and was reading the local
paper in her hoose one night, happened to notice that Frankie Miller was playin at the Champness Hall(strange
how ye remember silly details!)in Rochdale town centre the following night.
Said tae her "we must go tae this concert" - she'd never heard of Frankie but ah hud, even tho' he was yet to
make a name at that point.
Me and her were practically the only people in the audience, but Frankie was still superb :worthy:

ah madrid my first away european game another game we should have won ( ref a homer ) good picture afternoon kick off because it was holiday obligation
You mean qualified from the round rather than won the game in question.
We did after all lose 3 goals.
:nono:
If we scored that night and went through would we, the support, have escaped unhurt.
I was sitting to right of the goalmouth shown, maybe 10 rows of seats with terracing in front of us.
Great seats provided by Universal Travel, maybe twenty of us surrounded by Madrid's version of the Blue Order.
:suspect:
If George McCluskey had scored that night, 5pm kick off, i doubt our small section of the several thousand Celtic fans there that night would have made it out the stadium.
:arrr:
