Pawtucket huns :rubeyes: according to Willie Maley the friendly turned into a roughhouse affair and Celtic required a police escort at time-up, the ground was like a furnace and the referee had no control whatever, Celtic lost the match 1-3.

i preferred that end.......was a wee bit confused as there was no Goals in the picture,but figured the corner flag must be behind Dixie .

I was at that game and it was the biggest attendance I've ever known (unofficial, can't remember what the official one was). I was 16 at the time and the crush in Janefield St after the game was unbelievable
