56 League Cup Final?
Looks like Bobby Collins & possibly Alex (Alice) Byrne, if its Byrne he never played in a final.

I wasn't there. , but I would say the first match, as the replay would be an evening kick-off.

edit: Hampden floodlights were erected in 1961 (thank you google), so the replay would be an afternoon kick off. However, it looks like a fairly big crowd. So on the basis that the crowd would be much more sparse for a midweek afternoon match, I will stick with the first game as the answer.

Had some help on here previously looking for Celtic DVD//VHS covers.

Could any kind soul scan and post up any of the following. I have given the videos away. Been making my own dvd labels and only need these few to complete them.

- Untouchable 06/07 Review
- Classic Celtic
- 2 Good (Celtic World Huddle vid)
- Greatest Ever Celts
- Lord of The Wing
- Celtic Views (VHS)
- Ton'gue In Cheek

Would be much appreciated. Larger the scan size the better for me.

Think there was a burst of rain at start of the 5-1 game-so could be from that. McAvennie scored so would make sense. Don't think it was the 4-1 New Year-seem to recall it was really dark. Chris Morris goal. Both awful memories though!

Leeds had a bright orange away kit that year, we were first to wear those socks  afterwards Leeds wore the orange kit once v Derby I'm sure and got beat, the fans blamed the strip and demanded it never to be worn again, some fans calling it the 'Celtic strip'.

Revie on the night of the game thought he was playing funny buggers by offering us the orange socks, Big Jock in return said the travelling fans would love them as the strip would resemble the Irish Tricolour :rocker: Couldn't beat the Big Man at mind games.
i seem to remember that they offered us blue socks first, but were told to bolt ........ ;)
 thats correct

There was a burst of rain at the start.I was outside trying to get in when Macca scored.

I wish I hadn't bothered,it was a horrific experience.
