Dont think it is Murdoch TBH
This no him GR?

ANDY MURDOCH - APPS 78 (1) GLS 0
First came to Firhill on loan from Celtic and quickly impressed manager and fans alike. With Thistle going through a goalkeeping crisis John Lambie was desperate to make his transfer permanent but he was highly rated at Parkhead and Celtic were reluctant to let him go. Lambie's perseverance finally paid off in February 1991 when he made a double swoop upon Parkhead recruiting both Murdoch and his team mate Paul McLaughlin.

PTFCnet 1990s Players
Uncanny resemblance but it is Mark McLean. 1992/93

In saying that, I checked other images of that time and I have this 1991 Glasgow Cup shot of McLean :ponder: The 'View' must have their Murdochs and McLeans mixed up  You may be correct Sir

That's the old scoreboard top left in the Rangers End.
They would put up
A 1-0
B 0-0

etc so you had to buy the programme to see who what game referred to which letter.
Unfortunately it fell dowm in the fact that the huns were always A or so the story goes by the elder ubers.

My last ever game at Tynecastle and went to few away games after that thanks to experiences there and at Pittodrie that season, treated like cattle and overcharged for the priveledge. The cushions were meant to keep our uncovered seats dry but they were soaked by the time anyone got there, noone sat down anyhow. Funny at the time and up there with the game where the "thought he was smart" p.a. guy played American Pie and the whole hoops support danced and sang to it for the halftime break, spontaneous humour was a necessity for the away fans then!

Soaked and miserable on the way home I decided I was never going back to Tynecastle, how much do they charge these days?

Sure the attendance was given around the 40,000 mark, check the huns End  Surely the board never ripped off Big Packie on his Testimonial day

I was in the Main Stand, the accordian band standing infront of The Jungle pre match belting out Sean South, BOTOB etc :rocker: The old board were not all bad :ph43r:

This was the launch of the new Scotland strip in 1976. It's probably the most popular Scptland strip ever. I had the white one Danny is sporting with a number 2 on the back.

Happy days :)

Danny and Kenny (still a Celt) after beating the English 2-1 in 1976. Kenny got the winner.
