Thats an interesting one Vs Dundee from a strip point of view. Why did Dundee change to a white jersey for that game, when in these days that would be a colour clash. It was also the days before marketing dictated what strip you wore.

Any ideas?

Dundee changed to that strip for a couple of seasons in the 1970's, maybe 1972-1974. Hearts also changed to an Ajax style strip in this period.

Don't know why :ponder:

They wore that strip for at least one full season 1972-73
http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Scottish_Football_League/Dundee/Dundee.htm Although this web site is very good it is not 100% accurate

Seem to remember Hibs doing away with the white sleeves for a season in the early 70's as well.
