I think it was 5-0  Don't think Faither actually took part in the match (or was replaced during the game)
Nought wrote on the back

Had this photo for years and always thought it was the last league game of the season when we beat the Killie, Faither never played that day probably the only game he missed, Fallon was in goal but Faither came on to give us a wave at the end, im sure the 6-0 Clyde game was well after we brought the Big Cup back. :worthy:
End of 70/71; the final score was 6-1. Faither only led the team out: Evan Williams was in goal, IIRC. Morton beat us 1-0 at CP in a LC sectional match on the night the new stand was officially opened at the start of 1971/72.

I missed Lisbon as I was regarded as too young to be taken but I convinced my uncles to take me to Milan in 1970. I was heartbroken.

Excellent pics of the roof of the Celtic End going up in 1957 appears to show that the terracing was extended to accommodate the roof.
First time i've ever saw evidence of this or even heard of it.

Something i have never seen either

I had just read David Potters book " The changing face of Celtic Park" and he never had those pics nor do i remember reading anything about it, its not even mentioned in the Wikis timeline of CP. you should add them pics to the wiki

While i was in the Wiki i copied these pics, one without the roof from 1950ish

There's one part of Celtic Park that hasn't changed a bit since the 1890s except obviously the seats.

What part?

Googled Ufarte; as I thought... Atletico Madrid. :boik:

Paraphrased, the caption says, 'On the right wing, Madrid player Ufarte was excellent, except for the final ball. Here, Brogan is unable to block the cross.'
