Forgive my ignorance who is the guy on the right?
Mark Smith.

Signed from Queens Park in late 1986, played only a handful of games. Maybe 2 or 3.

Speedy as anything, but hella lightweight, and ultimately not quite good enough.

Was apparently put on a pasta diet to "beef up his muscle" by the backroom staff  Showing the extent of sports science and nutritional knowledge in football in the 1980s!

Transferred to Dunfermline Athletic in mid 1987 I think, and was ultimately to score against the huns and knock them out of the Scottish Cup, for which he will forever hold a small affection from me.

Scotland line up v West Germany in Hamburg, 1969? The game where Jinky & Gilzean scored for Scotland and big Tam Gemmell booted Helmut Haller up the arse? Germany won 3-2.

Mamma mia
I had friends from Verona whom travelled in Turin for the match supporting Celtic. They was well shocked (but not surprised) when italian marvellous Juventus aficionados attacked celtic fans and stabbed them. some of my friends saved couple of guys on their car, so my real "love" for Celtic family started on that september. and until now, i'm a crazy sellick supporter. Why my wife still didn't understand this, i don't know... :cannaewatch:

Interesting story. Very good friend of mine watched Celtic all over Europe and to this day says Juvenfus fans far and away the worst in Delle alpi under. MON. Said they spat and threw piss all game at Celtic fans.

Without any intimate knowledge of Italuan fans i found it quite surprising.
