He must spend a fortune on polish
:ponder:

I would like to think that every Celtic artefact in the image is still with the club but I know that is certainly not the case, the silver ship in the background lies safely if not comfortably in my own private collection even although it was presented to our club by Sporting Lisbon in 1983.

On a personal note I have approached Celtic, not to offer the ship back but to do a Inventory of every item of memorabilia inside Celtic Park, it would be a massive task but me and someone else who has vast experience of cataloguing have offered our services for free, or for the love of the club as I put it.

We still await their answer.

That's no just any stuffed bull, it's a Belted Galloway bull. Was going to joke it must have been presented to the club when we played Tarff Rovers from Kirkcowan (Beltie country), but I checked the wiki and it seems we did play a friendly against them in 1959, so maybe not too far off the mark

A bow to your superior knowledge Moch  thought it was a wee bit different (minus box) but never thought we had two so similar.

Breaks my heart to read Jim Brogan's story.

When I was 10 or 11 I went to a League Cup group stage game at Brockville in August. JB played the most gallus back heel volley to clear the ball out of defence. He was a favourite of mine from that day on.

I seem to recall him having a pretty good Celtic career?...

This is really sad. I remember Jim as a player. He took no prisoners. We used to chant, 'Brogies gonna get you!'. There was more to his game than that though.
I know his daughter Colette.
She is quite angry the way Celtic treated him as a player and she made it clear to me that she has no time for football and no particular affection for Celtic. Such a shame. Colette is a good woman and whilst I don't know any other family members, I'm of the impression they are a very good family indeed.

Massive respect to them all.
