Firhill didn't have floodlights on top of the shed?

Just that enclosure looked too big for Morton?

It did, but that aint Firhill, it's Cappielow. There was no room for a building behind
the shed at Firhill cos some carrot left a canal basin there...

Does anyone have any photos of Celtic v Finn Harps in July of 1975 at Finn Park, Ballybofey?A 0-0 draw for my first Celtic game. I think Danny McGrain explained in his book that the squad had partaken of a few beers the night before. The wee ground was packed and there was glorious sunshine. Iwas very disappointed at the result particularly because we had beaten Dundalk 6-0 a couple of days before and hit six again against Slgo Rovers a couple of days later. Sean Fallon was in charge as Big Jock was laid up after his accident.

Back Row: Dunky McKay, Billy McNeill, Pat Crerand, Dick Beattie, Phil Lynch, John Divers

Front Row: Bobby Carroll, Mike Jackson, Eric Smith, Jim Conway, Bertie Auld

I'm proud to say that Phil Lynch (second from the right) is my great uncle. I'm reliably informed that the photo dates from 1958. I don't think he ever really "made it" with Celtic, but he can say he played alongside some of the future Lions. He went on to be a successful GP, and is now retired, and looks after his pigeons. My cousin sent me this the other day.

Don't know how to submit pictures for the Wiki, but if anyone else does, then feel free!

Edit - OT Anybody got an original Shamrock top kicking about in an attic they wish to sell?

Joe Mason who is best remembered as a Morton player and signed for them in his 30's. Became a coach later on.
