These images are beyond amazing.

A real window to history.

They almost merit a dedicated thread of their own!

Said it for ages, this thread should have its own sub forum perhaps split into decades. As you say,Stevies pics deserve their own thread.

G.R.,did you break into somebodies house while they were in Lisbon last week? :ph43r: :suspect:

There was an image a while back of the supporters outside the stadium after Lisbon.

It pretty much looked like we'd been playing in a stadium in the middle of a forest on a lovely sunny early evening. It looked really tranquil and peaceful.

A really odd but nicely unique setting to a European final.

I'd never have known that had it not been for this thread.

"But Ted - Inter have Fr Romeo Sensini - seventeen caps for the Vatican over 75's . . . is there anything to be said for saying another mass ? . . . . "

Great photos GR - the clarity is wonderful. Like a window into history right enough

Big Paul obviously took a bad one there.

'The Bear' was always an underestimated player IMO. Drove the team on as Captain through many a bad year, tough as teak and played for the jersey. WHAT an inspirational figure he was.
