Danny McGrain looks like a hipster before his time. A trailblazer! If a beard was good enough for him...

A good few faces can be spotted in this one from 1975.
Willie Temperley fifth from left next to Andy Ritchie, what a character, was at a Sportsmans dinner with him a couple of weeks ago, still as mad as a box of frogs. After he got released he signed for Hibs and scored the winning goal against us at CP.

Smashing guy.

This from my first game - 1965 Scottish Cup Final vs Dunfermline. My big cousin Neil Brown took me and "lifted me over". Everybody remembers big Billy's winner, but Bertie's second equaliser was a belter

Season 1967-68, league cup sectional game, Aberdeen 1, Celtic 5 - a few days after we'd beaten Rangers 3-1 in the dramatic game at CP where Johansen missed a pen that would have put them 2-0 up with 15 mins to go.

Aberdeen experimented with numbers on the front of their jerseys that season, possibly an idea born of their participation in a summer tournament in the USA that year. It didn't last.

The only real clue i can come up with its pre June 1953 as Patsy died that year.

Seem to be a few from the team that won the Empire Exhibition trophy 1938, Hogg, Geaton, Lyon, Paterson.

Guessing 1951 and possibly a celebration of Winning the Scottish Cup or even the St Mungo Cup :brickwall:

Spoiler: click to toggle
It's in David Potter's book on Patsy, but all that the caption there says is that it's a collection of old Celts in the late 40s.
