Rare colour pic of East Fife in the top division. Good guy Peter McQuade No 3, Dave Gorman keeper and John Martis 2nd from left. Think the EF 9 in distance is Hughes?

Seem to recall wandering outta there in a daze, knowing we weren't going to win a league...
Or is it a false memory :ponder:
Pretty certain that didn't happen. My grandad remembered a few EF wins in the 50s, I think, but the closest they came in the 70s was a 2-2 draw that folk still talk about. Epic apparently and we had about three penalties and only just held on for a draw.

East Fife were relegated before our 10 in a row attempt in 74/75.

Kenny and Harry Hood missed that day but one of them was a retake and Dixie scored :thumbsup:
