Any info about this match?
1-1 draw at Hampden 11/11/78. Ibrox was under reconstruction at the time.
Wow. Thanks a lot.
Infact i saw the background was Hampden, but cannae remeber Doyle playing with n.11 v them.
That's was the 10-men-won-the-league season. i never seen the images on telly. The second match at Hampden we lost 1-0 and Doyle hit the post :nono: in a postponed match.
You think there were images somewhere?

I don't recall TV coverage of that game. I think it was an 11am kickoff as well, I wasn't at the match. The next game the LC semi-final wasn't on TV either, some dispute maybe? Pretty sure Doyle wore no 11 that night as well.

That's the Fitba I remember as a kid. Great pic's got it all - spectacular action, nobody with back to camera, big crowd and quirky ground.
Nor do the players look like Charles Atlas with a spray-on shirt. The Dumbarton defender is actually skinny!

If you watch football in the seventies you'll see footballers all shapes and sizes but they could play football.Nowadays players are athletes and can run all day,but many aren't very good at football.

I'm looking for some high quality - High resolution Celtic images to work with in photoshop and to blow up into artwork for canvas for my walls.
Anyone know where I can buy high resolution Celtic images? Had a look at shutterstock and getty but couldn't find anything.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Willie ormonds Scotland was the best Scottish international team, probably more to do with having so many great players.Ormond picked plenty of Celtic players in those days but not playing Jinky in the '74 World Cup was a real shame and I wonder if it was the sfa who pulled the strings on that decision.
