Estadio Nscional early 60's, Im sure the fountain/flower bedded square at the non terraced end is now a car park :( , there was a temporary press stand built for our final at the low end of the stadium. The ground up until the last few years was still used for the Portugese Cup Final, it's now capacity of 37,000 (55,000 in 67) has hampered it's pull in recent years years, but the authorities in Portugal are keen to keep Estadio Nacional as their main venue.
Was there in April and it's still intact but a bit run down, just like the entry on the left

I used to regard that as style back in the day.

Guy next to him is wearing the best ever Celtic scarf.
Guy next to him is wearing the best ever Celtic scarf. ...Agreed belter  :worthy:
Scarfs on 2nd guy in on the left, and on 3rd guy in on the right were the old Celtic scarfs you could buy at the time.
Late 60's, early 70's.

Don't think they were even offishull club merchandise at the time?

Anyone able to confirm?

And if so, was someone else making a fortune?

ps. they produced and sold similar huns scarfs at the time as well as I recall

My Dad was the Clubs President and my Mum was the Club manager, so I agree with that idea as well
