That's fantastic. :worthy:
This was on the back pages, big time. the morning after.

The look on Sprake'sface tells a story. Fantastic cross and diving header.

One of the greatest nights ever, for me.

Nearly eclipsed when Naka and Artur gave Them their dinner

Just checked the Companion( :worthy: ),gives that Aberdeen team, but dont think that they in numerical order, certainly Celtic are listed by formation.First thought was that 4 was Garner and Rougvie was on the line.

Location is Aikenhead Road, looking north. Hampden off to right of picture, I reckon.

Check the fashion of the day. Extreme left. Sellick scarf, knotted as cravatte(sp) :blueoyster2: , tucked into beige V neck

There's still hope for some of us..

I beg to differ..the Aberdeen No.4 is Big Eck.
Is it not Simpson ?
Rougvie was taller than that guy - Could be Simpson but it is an Eck pose and I think it is McLeish.

Yep.

The shop on the corner in the background is still there - Think it was some sort of Coffee Shop* fairly recently.

*Edit - BertieCarroll is correct in the post below - The shop is called Canasta.

Estadio Nscional early 60's, Im sure the fountain/flower bedded square at the non terraced end is now a car park :( , there was a temporary press stand built for our final at the low end of the stadium. The ground up until the last few years was still used for the Portugese Cup Final, it's now capacity of 37,000 (55,000 in 67) has hampered it's pull in recent years years, but the authorities in Portugal are keen to keep Estadio Nacional as their main venue.
