Waiting on the real CelticCSC!!

I have that postcard pinned to my office wall directly above my computer! Reminds me of the dreadful times during the 90s. Pretty sure I'm in that photo somewhere as I was at that match in that section :rocker:
This pic was taken during the first game of the Fergus McCann reign in March 1994 against Motherwell.

Billy McNeill and his old adversary Alan Gordon. Some player for Hibs and he sadly passed away recently. Not many people know that big Jock tried to sign him when he was at Hibs.

Rest in peace Alan.

First home game of Fergus's reign? First game was away to St Johnstone was it not? I remember standing on the grass slopes outside ticketless with a few hundred fellow tims desperate to welcome in the new era! Or am I getting confused in my old age? :ponder:

You got that cheque photo from ebay, didn't you.

I'm watching it out of interest and the start price is 139.99 Euros. So far and with just under 2 days to go, no bids.

I never knew he had passed away either. He was a smashing player I remember big Billy getting a hard time from him in the Leagul and dryburgh cup final Hibs won against us.

RIP Alan
