Very rare strip. Was only worn twice I think
Clydebank and Easter Road?...
I thought it was only ever worn at Rapid away and at Easter Road.Picture certainly looks like Kilbowie.

Edit.....this pics got me!!.As far as I know, this strip was only worn twice during the 84/85 season,we never played Clydebank that season.Domestically it was only worn at Hibs on December 15th,but the crowd picture suggests summertime.Anybody any thoughts?.

The picture is definitely Kilbowie - August '86 a 1-0 win.

Celtic Wiki - Clydebank away August '86

The Wiki is wrong with the kit they show the image of and stating it was a new kit: it was a yellow top, green shorts and yellow socks - but they one they show a graphic of, we switched to later in the campaign (notably Kiev away) - and we actually wore this one which had been worn before.

Aside from the late winner, this game is best remembered for me getting hit in the face with the ball with 5 minutes to go when a Clydebank defender booted out the ball out for a corner, I thoroughly enjoyed the later winner.

As for one of the above posts, a CSC leaves from The Argosy on the PRW so aye orcs, pop in there for a pint...

Think il pop into that Louden bar and give it a try on Saturday .Only
two of the pubs left on The Hampden list ,Penny Farthing the Govanhill Emerald ran a bus from there in the late 70s -
early 80s,and the Pandora although I think the name has changed on that one.
