The moment Willie McStay handles the ball resulting in the infamous defeat in the 1928 Scottish Cup final.

Big Jock looks raging in that photo, .....after the Racing game ?

Judging by the uniform of the army officer in the background, I'd say you were right that it is Argentina after the Racing game.

think this is the Young Bhoys with the Daily Express 5 asides cup - they went down to Wembley (Indoor arena) and beat the best in England! (1980?)

Charlie Ncholas,Mark Reid, Paul McStay, Danny Crainey and Davie Moyes (who proved the point that even centre-halfs could play in those days - can you imagine Boyata/Blackett doing the same? The ball would never be in the court.....

I remember staying up late with my brother to watch that....sportsnight? with Harry Carpenter? It was the cream of the crop in England they beat too as I recall..

Only way possible is by a tricky bit of Photoshopping. It would command a small fee though

You are probably correct with the team and what they won, but that is the old Premier League trophy, that Hibs will be lifting come May.

No. Definitely the old league championship trophy. Also think only two on the photo were involved at wembley. More likely just a photo of the younger players involved in winning the championship 1981-82
